"I joined the foundation class as a complete yoga novice unsure what to expect. Have now finished a term and I am hooked! A very restorative experience physically and mentally. Classes strike a really good balance between encouraging and challenging. Tom has been a great teacher. Excited to see where my yoga will take me."

"Both Nicole and Tom welcomed me as a beginner and through their patient and supportive teaching, my practice continues to improve. Practicing yoga regularly has had far reaching benefits. I’ve come to know my body and my mind better – I feel stronger, more flexible and more aware. Nicole and Tom’s vast knowledge of yoga comes through in their teaching, so too does their genuine care and interest in my practice and their willingness to cater to any injuries I may be experiencing at the time. The studio is warm and inviting, and classes are always interesting, challenging and fun. Highly recommend."

"I've been practising at Yoga Path for over ten years now and can't imagine practicing anywhere else. Tom and Nicole have created a wonderful yoga community and I love going to the extra gatherings they organise as well. Full day Immersion classes are just brilliant, not just for the practise but also for the delicious food Nicole always prepares! I've never had such thorough instruction in any other studio. And I'm stronger, more accomplished in my practise because of it."

"I’ve only done a little bit of Iyengar yoga before and found it very challenging - too challenging to stick with. However, at Yoga Path I have found a welcoming studio and teachers who support and encourage my practice and progress. Their knowledge of the asanas, yoga theory and teaching are all exceptional. Whether you’re a beginner or very experienced, you will be welcome, you’ll learn and your practice will get stronger."

"I've been lucky enough to have had Yoga Path in my life for the past 7 years. With their years of experience, Nicole and Tom have established a great yoga space and are always encouraging and accommodating. This studio has a real community vibe, and the all-day workshops are a great way to get an even larger dose of yoga and catch up with fellow yogis over chai and Nicole's delicious home-cooked treats."

"I’ve been a member at Yoga Path for nearly 8 years and still find the classes interesting and challenging. Both Nicole and Tom are excellent Iyengar yoga teachers, both emphasise technique and body awareness. I go into class stiff and grumpy after a day in my sedentary job and come out relaxed and cheerful. All ages and abilities are catered for without a fuss. Highly recommended."

Nicole Schroeter (IYA)
Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher &
Certified Level 3 Iyengar Teacher Trainer

"Transformation is sustained change, and it is achieved through practice."

The discovery of illuminating mental calm and focus rewarded Nicole’s initial enquiry into yoga, extinguishing  professional stress and unveiling her corporate role as an illusion. Here, beneath modern demands, was yoga, an  open secret of how to access a deeper connection with the art of life.

Practicing the physical strength building elements of yoga revealed the benefits of improved posture, self discipline and inner clarity. Enlightened to the peaceful path of greater awareness, Nicole unshackled herself from long hours behind a desk, brewed chai and answered the inner call to walk the yoga path, qualifying as a teacher in 2005.

Honoring the eight limbs of yoga is core to Nicole’s role as teacher and guide, grounded in the foundation of regular practice on and off the mat. Nicole believes a deepened practice can open us to our full human potential and integrally connect us to the greater universe, the light guiding the yoga path.

Nicole Kelly, Principal of Yoga Path yoga school, is a Certified Level 3 Iyengar Yoga Teacher. Nicole teaches yoga full time at Yoga Path.

Tom Schroeter (IYA)
Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

Introduced to the practice during injury rehab Tom experienced firsthand the benefits of yoga therapy, replacing medicinal pain management with Yoga. While regaining mobility of an injured limb was remarkable, the physical healing aspects of yoga seem rudimentary in retrospect. With practice, yoga opens doorways to ever deepening levels of awareness and becomes a guiding light on the journey of life. While the yoga path has led Tom to a teaching role, the revelation yoga offers keeps him a perpetual student of the practice on and off the mat.

Studio Manager and Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (IYA), Tom teaches studio classes, individuals, corporate and community groups.
